Our story
Northwoods Coffee started in 2016 with a 5-kilo roaster in a garage outside Duluth. We roasted on weekends and sold bags at the Saturday farmers market.
Today we roast about 1,200 pounds a week, buy directly from four partner farms, and still taste every batch before it ships.
What we believe
- Coffee should be fresh, so we roast to order.
- Farmers should be paid well, so we buy direct whenever we can.
- Good coffee shouldn’t need a lecture, so our guides stay short.
